Q. How can I find local obituaries?

The library has microfilm for all the local newspapers, Panola Watchman, 1873 - 2013. People are welcome to come to the library and research. 25 years of the Panola Watchman newspaper are also available online at our website.  If you are unable to come to Carthage, the Library staff can look up and send you information for a small charge.
